Born October 2012 in Novi Sad, Marko learned to read very early, at the age of two.
At the age of three, he was noticed for his unusual interest in music and music theory. Individual piano lessons started, at the age of 4, with Professor Milena Apić from May 2017. He is now a student at “Isidor Bajić” music school in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Almost at the same time with piano classes, he started creating compositions by writing scores on a cell phone. First compositions were made for piano, then followed compositions for two pianos and later for multiple instruments. Today, as he gains more knowledge about the musical instruments and harmony, he uses modern scoring programs and write compositions even for a symphonic orchestra.
He has been participating in multiple piano, music theory and composition contests and so far he has won the first prizes only. Some of the most noticed are: Republic Festival of Children’s Musical Creativity FEDEMUS (composition), Republic competition of students of music and ballet schools of Serbia (piano), Republic competition in solfeggio and music theory, International competition “GENÈVE MUSICALE” PIANO 2023 and Memorial competition for the best young composers “Andrija Čikić”, Ilija M. Kolarac Foundation.
