Oleksandr entered Children’s Music School No. 21 in Kyjiv, Ukraine, at the age of 5 years old in the class of Galina Kotsyuba. He started to participate in piano competitions when he was 6 years old. Oleksandr is a scholar of the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein. He is currently studying with Prof. Dr. Milana Chernyavska at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and with Polina Sasko.
He has won prizes at many international piano competitions, such as 1st Prize of XII International Piano Competition in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz, “Horowitz-Debut” Group in Kyjiv, Ukraine (2018); 1st Prize of Merci, Maestro! International Piano Competition in Brussels, Belgium (2019); 1st Prize of Amadeus International Competition for Young Piano Players in Brno, Czech Republic (2021), 1st Prize of Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte International Piano Competition in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic (2021, 2022), 1st Prize of César Franck International Piano Competition in Kraainem, Belgium (2022), 2nd Prize of International Piano Competition in Enschede, the Netherlands (2024), to name a few.
He has participated in festivals such as the Festspiele Südtirol, Starnberger Musiktage, Musiktage Seefeld, ArtDialog Festival, and performed in such venues as the Gustav Mahler Hall in Toblach, Steinway Piano Gallery and the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Glass Hall of the Song Festival Grounds in Tallinn, Kammermusiksaal of the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn, Vortragssaal of the Kunsthaus in Zürich, Switzerland, Villa Senar in Hertenstein, and many others.
