Adrian Kreda
Adrian Kreda, of Argentine, Polish and Swiss nationality, is a graduate of the National Conservatory of Buenos Aires, the Academy of Music of Krakow and the Geneva Conservatory. He has won several national and international awards. Since 1981, he has played in America, Europe and Asia. He performed the complete cycle of Ludwig Van Beethoven’s sonatas for piano. In 1992, he performed for the first time in Poland, Concerto No. 1 for piano and orchestra by Alberto Ginastera with the Poznan Philharmonic.
Adrian Kreda makes several recordings and CDs with the “Polish Piano Quartet” and the Lancy-Geneva orchestra. He was a member of the chamber music ensembles “Les virtuosos Romantiques”, “Ensemble métropolitain” with which he appeared in public on various European stages. For ten years he has been a member of the duo “Granat & Kreda” with pianist Tamara Granat. The duo has recorded 8 CDs for 4 hands or 2 pianos and carries out intense concert activity in Europe and America with very varied program offerings including certain original pieces arranged by Adrian Kreda.
Adrian Kreda has been invited to be part of the juries of various international piano competitions. Composer, improviser and conductor, his compositions have been performed and recorded. He teaches at the Geneva Conservatory of Music where he was dean of piano classes for 15 years.
