Message from the municipality of Genthod
Dear friends of music,
The Municipality of Genthod is deeply honoured to become, for the fourth consecutive year, an international capital of the piano through the Genève Musicale International Festival. Talented laureates of the 2025 Competition, coming from all corners of the world, distinguished piano masters, and guest musicians will inspire and move us throughout what promises to be an exciting week.
The programme features public masterclasses, lectures, and concerts, including a final concert with orchestra. We are especially proud to provide a setting for this inspiring project, which also gives prominence to Swiss composers such as Frank Martin and Michel Runtz.
This Festival represents a true meeting of cultures—a unique opportunity to share emotions and to forge strong connections in a global context that is, at present, far from serene.
On behalf of the Executive Council of Genthod, I wish Genève Musicale a long and successful future, and I would like to warmly thank the organising committee, the volunteers, and all those who make this event a true symbol of harmony and transmission—values that so perfectly embody the spirit of our municipality.
